Last weekend I was quite the busy photographer in Columbia. From shooting a story at a Mizzou softball game to covering the dinner I am sharing below, it was great to be outside all day shooting things for the University of Missouri.
This dinner was the first time for the folks at Bradford Research Center and a collection of student groups on campus. They wanted to highlight local farmers and showcase the great food they all produce. And what an event it was!
For several weeks I worked to help promote the event and luckily the dinner sold out at just over 100 guests. The four-course meal featured salads with greens grown at Bradford, shrimp raised at Bradford, local beef raised by Legacy Beef, amazing pork tenderloins from Patchwork Farms and cheesecake from Goatsbeard Farms. All the food was incredible.
Thanks to Leslie Touzeau and Lebo Moore for setting up the dinner and dozens of MU students that helped out. I hope this event becomes a regular thing.
Enjoy!
